Three weeks later and we've all finally recovered from the experience commonly referred to as SXSW. It was many things to all four of us; warm, cold, odd, loud, successful, pleasureful and leisureful with a smidge of fun and a touch of crazy. Green Room's 2nd SXSW showcase was a glaring success despite the minor equipment problems that we dealt with and conquered. Mallman once again declared himself the winner of SXSW, Ezra Furman and the Harpoons played at Fader's Lou Reed tribute, Sissy Wish traveled to the United States all the way from Norway and back and we finally ate at the Texas Chili Parlor, I mean we pretty much did everything that we wanted to barring the R.E.M. concert of course which was mega sold out. We saw some great faces at our showcase, from the indie scene heart throbs, Tokyo Police Club to the founding mother of the Music Slut blog and of course a Pitchfork writer or two (check out what Pitchfork had to say about our very own Sissy Wish).

Oh Austin, how we love you and all the good music that you keep within the confines of your sweet little city. We'd like to thank everyone who made this year's Green Room Music Source SXSW showcase possible; from all of our amazingly talented and consistently fantastic bands to the helpful folks at the venue and on the SXSW crew. We truly cannot wait until next year!
Love always,
Aubry, Craig, Wil and Beck
