Squaaks

Squaaks is a Baltimore-based rock/indie-pop outfit. Born in an art school dorm room, Squaaks is the love-child of a cassette tape recorder and a toy wurlitzer keyboard. This passionate union resulted in a diverse litter of tunes, many of which would become tracks "Rock Control" (2007), the band's first ep. The lineup of Squaaks is Virat Shukla (former member of The Oranges Band (Lookout!), bassist/backing vocalist Elena Fox (also a co-star of the Food Network's reality series "The Ace of Cakes"), guitarist/keyboard wizard Justin Custer, and drummer Charles Cole (ex- Two if by Sea). Squaaks is currently recording "Adventureland," a new album scheduled to be released by late 2008
